IFIHP espouses the IN7 health promotion approach, which claims that empowering, sustainable and efficient health promotion is interrelated with diverse stakeholders and international in its scope. To collaborate and establish agreements that are mutually beneficial to all parties involved is a fundamental element of this approach.

At present we work to establish collaboration and partnerships for education, training, research, advocacy and/or development consultancy purposes with private and public organisations such as higher education institutions, formal and non formal sector educational centres, research centres, enterprises, hospitals or clinics.
IFIHP collaborates with:

  • Autonomous University of Barcelona (Spain). The aim of the collaboration is to carry-out the research project “The Impact of Career Development for Youth in the Development of Competences to Access and Transform the Labour Market”.
  • Centre of Adult Education Concòrdia based in Sabadell (Barcelona, Spain). The aim of the collaboration is to carry out the career development program GPS to a better the future with youth studying in the centre. In partnership with the NPO Fem Pedagogia (Let’s Learn).
  • Centre of Adult Education L’Alzina, based in Cerdanyola del Vallès (Barcelona, Spain). The aim of the collaboration is to carry out the career development program GPS to a better future with youth studying in the centre. In partnership with the NPO Fem Pedagogia (Let’s Learn).
  • Centre of Adult Education L’Olivera, based in St. Quirze del Vallès (Barcelona, Spain). The aim of the collaboration is to carry out the career development program GPS to a better future with youth studying in the centre. In partnership with the NPO Fem Pedagogia (Let’s Learn).
  • Centre of Adult Education Montcada i Reixac, based in Montcada i Reixac (Barcelona, Spain). The aim of the collaboration is to carry out the career development program GPS to a better future with youth studying in the centre.
  • DEP, a Research, Information and Consultancy Institute specialized in applied sociology. The aim of the collaboration is to develop social research and intervention programmes in education, career development and health promotion in South Africa and Spain.
  • Educaweb, a leading career development platform in Spain and Latin America. The aim of the collaboration is to develop and disseminate career development programmes.
  • Fem Pedagogia (Let’s Learn), a non-for-profit organisation working to generate learning opportunities for a dignified for all.  IFIHP has reached an agreement with the organisation for the implementation of the programme GPS to a better future in Spain.
  • Fòrum IDEA-UAB, a group of academics of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (Spain) and practitioners dedicated to adult education research and development. IFIHP collaborates with them in the implementation of Women are eco-healthy!
  • Mental Health First Aid South Africa, a non-for-profit organisation aimed at increasing mental health literacy by enabling managers, employees and practitioners to give help to someone developing a mental health problem or in a mental health crisis. IFIHP offers consultancy on implementation and evaluation of training programs.
  • PERL a partnership of universities, research institutes, international organizations, national and local civil society organizations and some small and medium enterprises from more than 120 institutions in over 50 countries. IFIHP collaborates in diverse activities that address Education and Research about Responsible Living.
  • PERL Regional Network in Africa: The Network focuses in meeting the needs of the region on research about responsible living and sustainable consumption.  The members of the Regional Network come from diverse organizations of Kenya, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania and Zambia. IFIHP coordinates the network.
  • Popular Education South Africa:  This is one of the ‘catalytic projects’ initiated by the Ministerial Special Project on the future of the Humanities and Social Sciences. The project investigates past and current popular education in South Africa. IFIHP shares information about its Popular Education related activities and contributes in workshops carried-out within the Project.
  • Zeal Health Innovations, a private organisation whose wision is to be the partner of choice of public and private organisations in Africa for the creation of healthy lifestyles through effective and sustainable behavioural-modification interventions and research strategies. IFIHP collaborates with Zeal Health Innovations in the implementation of health promotion programs.
  • Zitzània, an adult education Association based in Sabadell (Barcelona, Spain).  The aim of the collaboration is to carry out the career development program GPS to a better future with youth studying in ABET centres.
